Christine’s pick didn’t even hint that it would have all the days of the week… but the Clash paid homage to Eddy Grant by covering his (and The Equals) “Police on my Back.” Sadly, Grant wrote that the police (not Sting) were on his back seven days a week, highlighting the problem of racialized policing. Dark, sad, but ultimately an incredible song.
